Also, if you’re chasing it to the bottom give it a tap or two before you hit the bottom so it doesn’t bounce a lot and lose time. It seems easier to me if you tell yourself not to overshoot the fish in either direction and get the bar to it a little slower/with more smaller taps rather than attempt a full drop or full hold as I seem to be able to make up the lost amount many times when it’s staying more still. Once you are able to tap and control the bar, then you will be much better off because you can chase the fish and then start the tap you’re familiar with to control the bar when it’s near. It should involve more actual tapping than holding your finger on the screen (almost like you’re just tapping continuously and not focusing at all on the the time your finger is actually on the screen).
